macOS Troubleshooting

Note: Kyvos.app is not currently signed, Mac users may be unable to open the application.

Error: Dialogue stating “Kyvos can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.”

Solution: Right-click Kyvos.app and choose “Open.” The dialogue may now allow Kyvos to be opened.

Error: The solution above did not work.

Solution: Go to System Settings -> Privacy and Security. Scroll down to Security. Click on Open Anyway. You should be able to run Kyvos now.

Error: Dialogue stating ‘“Kyvos.app” Not Opened’

Solution Dismiss the dialogue with “Done” and remove the quarantine attribute from Kyvos: xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/kyvos.app
